Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

We are recruiting for a permanent Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst role within a leading organization's ICT division. This position offers a hybrid work model, with at least one day per week on-site, and requires candidates to be located in Sydney for potential urgent on-site needs.

This role involves working independently under general guidance, planning tasks daily to yearly, and solving complex security issues. You’ll support a team protecting critical systems, collaborating with peers and external partners, and guiding junior staff.

Key duties include offering security advice, aiding in threat monitoring and incident response, working with external experts, investigating breaches, assessing vulnerabilities, coordinating evaluations, tracking emerging threats, managing security tools, escalating risks, and taking on other tasks as needed.

Candidates need 3+ years in security operations, relevant certifications (e.g., GCIH, GPEN, GCFA), and a Bachelor’s degree. Strong skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and cybersecurity knowledge are essential.
