We are seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. This role is ideal for someone with deep test automation expertise in Java and JavaScript(Playwright), solid QA experience, and a passion for improving quality in complex, evolving systems. Required skills: what you need to be considered:
• Overall 7 to 10 years hands on experience in designing automation framework, automation script development and Maintenance with strong expertise in Playwright.
· Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation development using JavaScript with Playwright framework.
· Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
· Hands-on experience in API automation Postman and Rest Assured.
· Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
· Strong knowledge of Testing process/types, Agile experience, Defect management tool like qTest, JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out:
• Good to have Retail experience (Order Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Payment system and Sales).
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest , Mocha , JUnit , or PyTest.
In this role, you will:
Develop robust and maintainable automation test scripts using Playwright.
Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
Develop scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and TypeScript.
Conduct comprehensive API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
Helps lead test automation effort, advocating for automation and contributes to framework design and suggests process improvements.
Reviews automated test runs, reports out on automated test execution and coverage statuses, and maintains broken automated tests.
Identify, log, and track software defects, and work with teams to resolve issues.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
