As a Senior AWS L3 Support Engineer, you will provide expert-level support for AWS services, helping clients navigate complex issues while ensuring optimal performance and security of their cloud environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and enhance system performance.
  • Monitor AWS environments, performing proactive measures to ensure system reliability and uptime.
  • Document issues and solutions effectively, contributing to the knowledge base for continuous improvement.
  • Guide clients through AWS architecture and support best practices to maximize service usage.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior support engineers on AWS services and support processes.
  • Stay up to date with AWS service offerings and contribute to developing strategies for leveraging new features and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical support or system engineering, with at least 4 years focused on AWS support.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services, best practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical issues, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and support tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
