About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CPA to join our team. In this role, you will lead complex accounting functions, oversee financial reporting and compliance, and provide strategic insights that drive sound business decisions. You will serve as a key advisor internally and to clients, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in all financial operations.
This is a hands-on role ideal for a CPA who thrives in dynamic environments, excels in problem-solving, and is ready to take ownership of high-level accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help, manage and oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger, financial statements, and month/year-end close.
- Lead the preparation and review of tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership) ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
- Provide strategic financial advice to stakeholders and clients based on thorough analysis and reporting.
- Conduct financial audits, risk assessments, and internal controls evaluations.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license (required).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High integrity and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
