Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is on the lookout for an exceptionally skilled Senior Cyber Architect to take the lead as the cybersecurity expert for the CAOC-X environment. In this pivotal role, you'll be tasked with designing, developing, integrating, and safeguarding Information Assurance (IA) architectures across Department of Defense (DoD) networks and systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in cybersecurity architecture, system security, risk management, and cross-domain solutions to elevate the operations and testing environments of the Air Operations Center (AOC).
Requirements
- Design, develop, implement, and integrate secure DoD IA architectures and system components across computing, network, and enclave environments.
- Ensure the architecture and design of CAOC-X systems and special-purpose nodes are functional, secure, and compliant with DoD cybersecurity standards.
- Determine system security requirements by evaluating business objectives, conducting vulnerability and risk assessments, and identifying integration issues.
- Develop cost estimates and implementation strategies for emerging cybersecurity requirements.
- Implement and support cybersecurity systems, including intrusion detection, endpoint protection, and encryption key management.
- Verify security posture by creating and executing system-level security test scripts.
- Develop and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and artifacts for classified and unclassified systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity policy, procedures, and technology trends relevant to CAOC-X systems.
- Identify and mitigate technical, administrative, and physical risks to AOC and Air Force Global Information Grid (AF-GIG) assets.
- Serve as the cybersecurity focal point for all CAOC-X concerns, including Computer, Communications, and Emissions Security.
- Collaborate closely with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Computer Network Defense (CND) teams, and network personnel.
- Provide guidance on cross-domain solutions and compliance with NSA’s “Raise the Bar” initiative and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC).
- Support implementation of Zero Trust architecture initiatives.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity field.
- Proven experience with developing RMF documentation and managing certification processes for ATO, ATC, IATT, and software accreditations (NIPRNET/SIPRNET).
- Experience with ACAS, NeuVector, and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS).
- Hands-on experience with IA architecture integration for DoD systems.
- Familiarity with NSA’s “Raise the Bar” and CSfC programs.
- Working knowledge of Zero Trust cybersecurity models is highly desired.
