About the role
As a Senior Data Engineer you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable data architecture. You will be a valued member of the Life Science team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and transformation processes.
In this role, you will:
· Design and implement scalable data architectures using Python and Databricks technologies to optimize data processing and analytics.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Develop and maintain Databricks Workflows to automate data pipelines and ensure efficient data flow.
· Utilize PySpark to perform complex data transformations and enhance data processing capabilities.
· Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices in coding and data management.

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until September 23, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
