Key Responsibilities

As a (Senior) Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Business Growth: Deliver on both top and bottom-line targets, growing our business in a profitable way with both existing and new accounts.
  • Consultative Selling: Utilise a consultative selling approach and demonstrate a deep understanding of our customers' needs. Go beyond the obvious to deliver a superior customer experience to drive growth.
  • Strategic Business Development: Combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic, action-oriented entrepreneurial approach to identify and bring in new customers and business opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our technical Flavour Creation & Application and marketing teams to ensure successful project execution. Collaboration and teamwork are key to our success.

Requirements

We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses the following characteristics:

  • Industry Experience: Clear track-record of driving commercial success in the B2B food industry. Preferably in flavors and/or specialized food ingredients.
  • Market Knowledge: Strategic business and commercial insight with deep understanding of the Benelux food market dynamics and ability to use this to deliver on business opportunities.
  • Results-Driven: Hunter mindset with strong drive to achieve results and deliver on objectives. High level of accountability. Proactive, action oriented and determined.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Self-awareness and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, negotiate persuasively, and work successfully with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complexity by balancing attention to detail with a pragmatic and hands-on problem-solving approach.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with knowledge of the Dutch language considered an advantage.
  • Flexibility: This position can be tailored to fit a Key Account Manager or a Senior Key Account Manager level, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
