Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer - Hybrid to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you!

Location - Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements for new and existing applications.
• Lead the development of technical specifications and documentation for mainframe systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Should have strong hands-on development in CICS, JCL, Cobol, DB2
• Should have experience in both online and batch
• Should have used Endeavor, Git, IDZ tools
• Should have hands on development experience in CICS in last 6months to 1 year

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for the position is between $60,000 – $93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
