About the role;

As a Senior .NET Architect, you will make an impact by having a strong background in creating user-friendly interfaces and a keen eye for detail. You will be a valued member of our team and work collaboratively with managers, primary team, or other stakeholders and teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Candidate must Have 10-15 years of relevant experience on designing and developing highly scalable, robust and secure enterprise applications with .NET Core.

  • Hands-on experience on C#.net, Web API, Dot net Core, and Entity Framework.

  • Experience on building cloud native components preferably on GCP-Spanner and Pub/Sub services.

  • Strong expertise in SQL programming, with experience in writing & optimizing queries that access/process millions of records.

  • Good understanding on Microservices and exposure to docker or any containerization technologies.

  • Knowledge of common authentication technologies including OAuth, SSO, LDAP

  • Proficiency in Code Reviews, Unit testing, application deployment and performance tuning.

  • Adhere to Design Principles and provide innovative solutions.

  • Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities.

  • Strong experience with Build and Release, Agile processes, and Estimation/Planning

  • Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

  • Provides guidance on design and best practices in software development

  • Must have experience in leading and mentoring teams.

  • Must have extensive experience with GCP and Google Cloud Spanner.

  • Must have strong expertise in developing and deploying Web APIs and Microservices.

  • Must have proficiency in .Net Core and related technologies.

  • Must have domain experience in Multi-Channel Order Management Services.

  • Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time.

  • Should have experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.

  • Should have a deep understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.

  • Should have the ability to work in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.

  • Should have a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.

  • Should have strong documentation and technical writing skills.

  • Should have the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
