We’re seeking a skilled technician to perform complex repairs on a wide range of construction equipment. This role requires advanced mechanical expertise and diagnostic capabilities, with a strong commitment to safety and minimal supervision.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct advanced assembly and disassembly of heavy equipment, including diagnostics and repairs to major systems such as engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulics, and electrical components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, service manuals, and work orders to guide repair work and ensure safe practices.
  • Evaluate equipment for safety, serviceability, and reparability.
  • Operate various types of construction and maintenance support equipment with full system knowledge and safety awareness.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal reports with technical staff, customers, and team members.
  • Use diagnostic tools and instrumentation to identify root causes of equipment issues.
  • Mentor and train other mechanics and visitors on repair techniques and technical documentation.
  • Perform welding layout work and read engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate effectively in team settings, adapting seamlessly between team member and team leader roles.

What Skills You Will Have:

  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment, generator sets, and heavy machinery.
  • Skilled in performing complex mechanical modifications and system overhauls.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
  • Adept at working with minimal supervision in high-demand repair environments.
  • Familiar with industry-standard safety practices and technical documentation.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Experience using oxy-acetylene and arc welding equipment for non-critical repairs or modifications.
  • Familiarity with a variety of equipment types including HMS, LMT, OHT, TTT, MG, HEX, LWL, and BHL.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple repair orders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in math and technical writing, with advanced diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical teams, customers, and visitors.

Summary Pay Range:

$24.05 - $36.05
