As a Program Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects within the organization. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders managing risks and ensuring quality standards are met. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of projects and contributing to the companys overall objectives.

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Location: Palo Alto, California Onsite position, 5 days a week at the office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee project timelines ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Manage project scope ensuring all project requirements are met and documented.
• Identify and manage project risks implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Monitor project budgets ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
• Utilize Scrum and Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and adaptability.
• Ensure quality management processes are in place to meet project standards and deliverables.
• Oversee project invoicing and financial tracking to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Use MS Project for effective project planning tracking and reporting.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress and address any issues.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Evaluate project outcomes identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned.

Qualifications

· 15+ years of experience.

· Demonstrate expertise in Project Time Management ensuring projects adhere to schedules.

· Exhibit strong skills in Project Quality Management maintaining high standards.

· Possess experience in Project Scope Management ensuring comprehensive project coverage.

· Showcase proficiency in Project Risk Management effectively mitigating potential issues.

· Have a solid understanding of Project Cost & Budget Management optimizing resource allocation.

· Be skilled in Scrum and Agile PLM enhancing project adaptability.

· Experience in Project Stakeholder Management ensuring effective communication.

· Familiarity with Project Budgeting and Invoicing ensuring financial accuracy.

· Proficiency in MS Project for efficient project tracking and reporting.

· Nice to have experience in Commercial Lending adding domain-specific insights.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $113,459 – $195,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
