About the role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer with AI Exp., you will make an impact by leading automation testing efforts across multiple Agile teams, ensuring robust quality assurance practices and high-performing software solutions. You will be a valued member of the QEA team and work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and offshore teams to support enterprise-level initiatives.

In this role, you will:

· Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand and validate business requirements.

· Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions meet functional expectations.

· Define testing strategies, manage QA team activities, and lead test planning, execution, and reporting.

· Communicate testing progress, results, and risks to relevant stakeholders.

· Work closely with Agile teams including development, product management, and operations.

· Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to testing.

What you need to have to be considered

· 7+ years of hands-on testing experience in automation (Selenium).

· Understanding of AI concepts and the non-deterministic nature of testing.

· 5+ years of experience leading and representing QA across multiple scrum teams.

· Strong experience in Agile methodologies, preferably SAFe.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Experience working in onshore/offshore support models.

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts.

This will help you stand out

· Experience with Salesforce testing.

· Background in healthcare domain projects.

· Familiarity with enterprise-level QA tools and automation frameworks.

· Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$53,477– $92,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
