Senior Roku Developer

About the role

As a Senior Roku Developer, you will make an impact by designing and building high-performance streaming applications used by millions of users worldwide. You will be a valued member of the ISG team, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, scalable, and reliable software solutions. Your contributions will directly influence the success and evolution of our streaming platform.

In this role, you will:

• Develop client-side code for streaming applications using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain software features and applications.
• Write technical documentation, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support software releases.
• Participate in meetings and working sessions to align on technical and business requirements.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, unit testing, and maintainable documentation.

Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in city, state. What you need to have to be considered

• 5+ years of experience developing and releasing software products and services.
• Proficiency in client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with BrightScript and SceneGraph is a plus.
• Expertise in version control systems like Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline technologies.

• Advanced level of English.

• Experience developing for streaming platforms such as Roku, FireTV, or similar devices.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Experience supporting software releases and troubleshooting production issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal streaming app portfolio.
