Senior SAP RAP Consultant

About the role

As aSenior SAP RAP Consultant Senior SAP RAP Consultant, you will make an impact by designing and developing applications using SAP RAP on S/4HANA or SAP BTP. You will be a valued member of the SAP Development team and work collaboratively with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

· Develop applications using SAP RAP on S/4HANA or SAP BTP (Steampunk/Embedded Steampunk).

· Work with CDS Views, Behavior Definitions, Service Bindings, and OData V4 services.

· Enable and support Key User Extensibility (Custom Fields and Logic, In-App Extensibility, etc.).

· Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to design solutions aligned with SAP FICO processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, etc.).

· Implement clean, maintainable, and upgrade-stable code aligned with SAP Clean Core principles.

· Perform enhancements using in-app extensibility.

· Assist in designing and implementing Fiori applications using Fiori Elements and UI5.

· Monitor application performance and debug issues related to RAP and FICO integrations.

· Stay current on SAP technology updates, particularly around RAP, Key User Extensibility, and S/4HANA innovations.

What you need to have to be considered

· Experience developing with SAP RAP on S/4HANA or SAP BTP.

· Strong knowledge of CDS Views, Behavior Definitions, and OData V4 services.

· Experience with SAP FICO modules and understanding of related business processes.

· Proficiency in implementing clean and upgrade-stable code following SAP Clean Core principles.

· Ability to troubleshoot and optimize RAP applications and FICO integrations.

These will help you stand out

· Knowledge of SAP CAP and Event Mesh.

· Experience with Fiori Elements and UI5 development.

· Familiarity with Key User Extensibility tools.

· Strong analytical and debugging skills.

· Ability to work in agile and cross-functional teams.
