Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Experience with HTML, SASS, Typescript, Frontend web development.
  • Experience testing, and launching software products.

Google Store is the company's e-commerce site for Google's expanding portfolio of hardware products and associated services. Our site is the authoritative place to learn about Google's hardware products and buy them. Our product range includes Pixel, Google Nest, Pixelbook, Chromecast, Google Wifi, VR, FitBit and accessories. Our site offers visually compelling product merchandising, instantaneous up-to-the-second inventory availability, worldwide order fulfillment, and self-service returns/repairs.

Google Store focuses on building relationships with customers and providing the best experiences with our devices and services. Google Store offers first-party retail experiences with our products, both online and at our physical retail stores in New York City, Mountain View and Boston.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on projects.
  • Architect a scalable, high-performance web platform using AI.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, helping with the technical direction across the gStore front end.
  • Contribute actively to the codebase.
  • Build a reusable framework to accelerate component/module development, with patterns supporting Material Design, BC25, and theming.
