On behalf of IBM , a leading multinational IT company, LMW is seeking a skilled and versatile Senior System & Integration Engineer (Way4 Admin) to join their growing infrastructure team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional with experience in system and network administration, scripting, and data migration. The perfect candidate will work across a variety of platforms and tools, supporting critical application environments, automation processes, and system integrations.As a key team member, they will ensure system stability, streamline operations, and enable efficient data exchange and interoperability across internal and client-facing systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline system operations
- Perform system administration tasks on Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and monitoring
- Manage Oracle and SQL Server databases: write queries, procedures, and handle data import/export
- Execute and manage data migration activities using DTS, bcp, and shell scripts
- Support system integration projects, including API integration, file-based workflows, and application server configuration
- Administer and configure web and application servers such as Apache, IIS, Tomcat, and JBOSS
- Deploy and maintain internal applications across test and production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable system communication and data exchange
- Maintain thorough documentation for all configurations, scripts, and technical procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in a combined System/Network Administration and Programming role
- Strong scripting and programming skills in: Java, Python, JavaScript, Shell (bash, PowerShell), AWK
- Solid understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, DHTML
- Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL for database scripting
- Experience with data migration tools (e.g., DTS, bcp, import/export utilities)
- Familiarity with application/web servers (Apache, IIS, Tomcat, JBOSS)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, macros)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, routing, and firewalls
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools and basic performance tuning
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities
