RResponsibilities:
- Organize and meticulously update the company's tax database to ensure all information is accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible.
- Prepare timely tax payments, estimate liabilities, and diligently track the status of all tax returns to maintain financial health and compliance.
- Complete and submit detailed quarterly and annual tax reports, ensuring all filings are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines.
- Recommend and develop innovative tax strategies that not only align with overarching business objectives but also optimize the company’s financial outcomes.
- Prepare all necessary documentation for tax payments and returns, maintaining a structured system for quick retrieval and reference.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting department to share critical financial data, thereby ensuring full compliance with all tax requirements and regulations.
- Identify potential tax savings opportunities and proactively suggest strategies to enhance profits while remaining within the boundaries of tax legislation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and diligently track changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company’s tax strategy remains relevant and beneficial.
- Liaise with both internal and external auditors, ensuring thorough compliance with applicable regulations and fostering a relationship built on transparency and trust.
- Forecast tax predictions and communicate insights to senior managers to inform critical business decisions and financial planning efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's’ Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required
- 4-5 years of related experience in Tax Accounting is required
- Previous experience in Mexican taxes, taxes audit is required
- Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment), would be considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Fluent English is a must
