Senior Test Analyst

Senior Test Analyst is currently required for a 6 months contract to join a Global Solution Provider on a high-profile mobile device/payments project. This is a hands-on role requiring strong System Integration Testing (SIT) experience and a commitment to on-site collaboration in the Melbourne CBD.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Test Plans, Test Schedules, and Test Summary Reports

• Design manual test cases using approved tools (e.g., Jira, Xray)

• Ensure traceability of test cases to business and technical requirements

• Conduct peer reviews of test assets to ensure quality and coverage

• Execute System, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Identify, investigate, and escalate defects, ensuring alignment with test cases

• Review and contribute to all test documentation

• Generate and manage relevant test data

• Set up and configure test environments

• Ensure testing is delivered on time, within scope, and meets quality standards

• Record detailed test execution results and defects in Jira

• Participate in the evaluation of overall test success criteria

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst in SIT environments

• Previous experience working on mobile applications or payment/ POS systems projects

• Hands-on experience with Jira and other industry-standard testing tools

• Available to work full-time on-site in Melbourne CBD
