Senior Tosca Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a “Senior Tosca Automation Test Engineer” to join our QEA team. You will leverage your expertise in TOSCA, Java, Maven, Jenkins, Cucumber, SQL, AWS to lead testing efforts and drive automation initiatives. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality solutions in the Core Commerce domain, enhancing user experience and satisfaction.

In this role, you will:

• Design and execute automated test cases, including regression tests, functional tests, and end-to-end business process tests using Tosca.
• Implement and maintain Tosca automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Setting up the Tricentis TOSCA environment and infrastructure.
• Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to ensure robust software quality.
• Utilize Jmeter for performance testing to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement TestNG for test execution and reporting, enhancing test efficiency.
• Provide expertise in AWS to optimize testing environments and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Scrum Master methodologies.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• 8-12 years of experience in Automation Testing with expertise in Tosca Automation tools (Tricentis Tosca).
• Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience with TOSCA, including scripting, test case design, and execution.
• Expertise in Tosca Commander, Tosca Execution, Tosca API testing/UI Testing and Manual Testing.
• Experience in test automation framework development and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other programming languages
• Must have strong experience in supporting test automation strategy, framework, and test plan documents.
• Solid understanding of and practical experience in integrating TOSCA with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter.
• Knowledge on the SAP Testing.

What will help you stand out (preferred skills):

• Tosca certification (AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2 and AE1, AE2) is a highly recommended.
• SAP Testing is nice to have.

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 90,000 – 110,500 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial well-being.
