Senior V&V Engineer - Defence

Randstad is currently partnering with EOS (Electro Optical Systems) on an exciting new role within the software testing space. As part of a new strategy within V&V, the business has a need for a Senior Testing Engineer. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Test Engineering Manager and work closely with the V&V and Engineering team to assist with software testing and to improve process efficiencies to increase engineering output and product quality. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will support the testing and verification of systems and help lead the integration and test environments.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Hume, Canberra.

About the Role

• Collaborate with other V&V testing and Engineering professionals to consult across Systems, Projects and software Engineering
• Work closely with the senior V&V team members to assist in the verification and validation activities for the RF400 project
• Prepare Test Plans and Procedures
• Develop and implement new documents for work procedures to refine engineering work streams
• Design and implement Automated Tests Frameworks
• Conduct system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and make any configuration changes

About you

• A tertiary qualification in Systems/Software Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
• Strong experience needed around embedded systems in a production environment
• Strong knowledge around engineering Verification & Validation
• Proficient in hands-on hardware and/or software installation and configuration
