The ServiceNow Applied AI Lab advances state-of-the-art AI and turns research into real product impact. We build and validate proof-of-concepts (PoCs), test new ideas quickly, and collaborate across product, engineering, and research to ship meaningful AI capabilities.
As an Applied AI Early Career Engineer in the AI Lab, you will collaborate with a team of like-minded developers, research scientists, product managers and engineers to produce top quality research. You will collaborate with our team to develop innovative AI proof-of-concepts (PoCs). Your role includes working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to clarify project objectives, define success criteria, and assess risks. You will tackle complex problems, design and evaluate machine learning models, and analyze datasets. Reporting on performance, conducting error analysis, and iterating on results are key to delivering impactful AI capabilities. Key duties also include clear documentation of methods and results and presenting your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This full-time, 6-month paid program offers a unique opportunity to stay at the forefront of AI research while contributing to meaningful product development.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $63.35/hour, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
