Sessional Kindergarten - Whitfield location

The position offers 16 hours per week working with 3-4-year-olds, with the option for additional hours (up to 38 hours) at other kindergarten locations that are within the region.

The kindergarten provides a unique Bush Kindergarten program, encouraging exploration and learning through play in natural settings. They also foster strong community connections, utilizing local schools as a base for explorations, which aids in a smooth transition to school for the children.

The successful candidate will have:

• Diploma or Certificate 3 In children services
• Mandatory reporting training
• Relevant VIT card
• Current First Aid or willing to obtain
• CPR , Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
• A genuine enthusiasm, passion and dedication to fostering lifelong learners
• Must have knowledge of the Child Safe Standards.

We note that Early Childhood Teachers registered with VIT do not require a working with children check, however are subject to criminal records checks on application for a new role.
