The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
Your mission
Our mission as a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is to ensure the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our organization’s digital infrastructure. We strive to deliver exceptional reliability, performance, and availability for our customers and internal stakeholders. Through the application of automation, best practices, and a relentless focus on continuous improvement, we aim to create a robust and resilient platform that powers our services without interruption.
About The Team:
You work with SRE team which includes expert Software and System engineers who are custodians of Availability, Scalability and Performance of the AI Agents and SaaS products.
We build agents, tools and frameworks to monitor, analyse performance, load test and sometimes build full platform features that other products’ use.
We undertake architecture reviews and help the individual product teams to identify performance bottlenecks.
We tend to look at the application from a system perspective bottom up rather than top-down.
Our engineers have the freedom to pick the challenges that they work on and own the task to completion.
What you'll bring to the team
Operational Efficiency: Contribute to designing and implementing systems/solutions that enhance operational efficiency at scale
AIOps: Assist in integrating AI tools and agents to improve Service Level Objectives (SLOs)/Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and reduce manual toil.
Monitoring/Observability Architecture: Help develop and implement monitoring agents, dashboards, and alerts to proactively manage service reliability.
Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations, assist in root cause analysis during outages, and contribute to writing postmortems to improve services and practices.
Team Growth: Learn from senior SREs and adopt SRE best practices.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Hands-On Experience: 2-5 years of experience in DevOps or site reliability within commercial software organizations, with a focus on improving system reliability and performance.
Familiarity with AI/AIOps: Basic understanding or experience with AI agents and/or AIOps concepts.
Programming / Scripting Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as Python, Go).
Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot live site issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve them.
Cloud Knowledge: Understanding of public cloud offerings (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
Distributed Systems: Experience or knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Performance Analysis: Basic understanding of web application performance analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
What to Expect:
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior SREs, learn from their experiences, and grow within the team. You'll be contributing to critical aspects of service reliability and operational efficiency while developing your skills in SRE practices."
