About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Sitecore XM Cloud JavaScript CSS, HTML, SiteCore and .Net Framework. This role involves designing and implementing innovative solutions that align with our company's goals and enhance user experience. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.

In this role, you will:

- Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient Sitecore XP 10 solutions that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

- Oversee the integration of JavaScript CSS and HTML to create seamless and responsive web applications.

- Provide technical expertise in SiteCore and .Net Framework to ensure robust and secure application architecture.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with project goals.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support system architecture and design decisions.

- Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding testing and deployment to maintain high-quality standards.

- Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving any issues that arise.

- Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.

- Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations throughout the development lifecycle.

- Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON. What you need to have to be considered

  • Sitecore 10 – Experience with customizations and understanding of Sitecore clone behavior.
  • Unicorn – Proficient in handling item synchronization using Unicorn.
  • RAZL – Familiarity with comparing and syncing Sitecore databases.
  • C# and ASP.NET MVC (MVC5) – Ability to build web pages and applications using MVC architecture.
  • Web API – Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful services using C#.
  • Solr – Experience with search platform integration and configuration.
  • SQL – Strong knowledge of database design, queries, and optimization.
  • PowerShell Scripting – Good understanding and practical experience in automating tasks and managing Sitecore environments. Possess a strong understanding of Sitecore 10 and its application in enterprise environments.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100.000 - $117.500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
