About the Role:
About the Role We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Development Manager to lead a growing team of software engineers and QA professionals. This role combines people management with technical leadership, overseeing a cross-functional group working on frontend, backend, AI-driven development, and QA efforts across the CADIS product suite.
The Development Manager will play a key role in coordinating delivery, providing senior-level guidance, and ensuring the team’s output aligns with product and business goals. You will report directly to the Director of R&D and work closely with product, engineering, and AI leads across the organization.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a multidisciplinary team of frontend and backend developers, QA
- engineers, and future hires.
- Responsible for Feedback and Development of GDC Team
- Act as a technical escalation point and sounding board for engineers, especially in complex or AI related feature development.
- Maintain alignment between product direction, engineering goals, and implementation velocity.
- Ensure consistent delivery standards, quality assurance, and process adherence across the team.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and professional development of new engineers.
- Facilitate continuous improvement in team workflows, tools, and communication.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and team morale.

- Intermediate Frontend Developer
- Intermediate QA Engineer
- Senior Frontend Engineer (AI focus)
- Senior Backend Engineer (AI focus)
- Team size: Initially 4 direct reports, with growth potential
- Collaborates with: Product Manager, Engineering Leads, QA and DevOps experts
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Development Manager, Engineering Manager, or Senior Technical Lead with team leadership responsibilities
- Solid technical background — ideally with experience in frontend/backend development, system architecture, or AI-enabled solutions
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead delivery across multiple projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills across distributed teams
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
