Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
- 3 years of experience with state of the art GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming in Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with Android development.
- Experience with Google backend tech stack.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with Engineering/Product Management/User Experience across Play and WearOS.
- Lead a growing team of full stack Software Engineers.
- Build out capabilities needed for WearOS’s unique ecosystem needs, including associated cross form factor features on phones.
- Deliver a premium, next-generation application storefront for WearOS.
