Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in an impactful development role working on technically-challenging cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery.
  • Experience with APIs and SDKs.
  • Experience in problem-solving and technical innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.

The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create external developer facing APIs and underlying infrastructure.
  • Identify, deliver, and land critical user journeys.
  • Measure and monitor the impact of various features across the business communication ecosystem.
  • Create better user experience by fixing critical bugs/issues raised by external developers (e.g., partners).
  • Work with product managers, UX, developer relations, support, and engineering leads to deliver product/system metrics to help understand various nuances of the product.
