Responsibilities

  • Develop and update test cases and test plans, ensuring their alignment with requirements and policy changes.
  • Establish and enhance the automated test framework and test environments.
  • Execute tests on new features and identify and report defects.
  • Conduct various types of testing, including manual, functional, performance, and exploratory tests, to support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate in resolving production issues and providing support.
  • Actively participate in all agile ceremonies, contributing to the team's success.
  • Requirements

  • Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related Infocomm discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software quality testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of testing techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with a range of testing tools would be advantageous, including:
  • o Open-source automated testing frameworks like Robot, Appium, and Selenium.

    o Enterprise-level testing tools such as HP Mobile Center, HP UFT, HP QC, and Sprinter.

    o Open-source performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, and Locust, or enterprise-level tools like HP LoadRunner.

    o Open-source penetration testing tools like ZAP, Burp Suite, and SQL Map, or enterprise-level tools like HP WebInspect, Nessus, and CheckMarx.

  • Previous exposure to Agile environments would be beneficial.
  • Possess excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Exhibit a proactive, self-driven, and motivated approach to work.
