Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solution Lead - SAP Sales & Distribution to join OTC-Machine Orders SAP&CMOPS -CAT IT Division
Caterpillar is seeking a highly qualified SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Solution Lead to join our Order to Cash (OTC) team. This individual will play a pivotal role in implementing technical solutions that align with our evolving business objectives and support strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP SD, demonstrated experience leading complex solution designs, and successful implementation of intricate order scenarios and pricing procedures.
This position requires effective leadership within a global, collaborative environment, working closely with other OTC Solution Leads, functional leads, technical programmers, and various IT teams. Acting as both a strategic advisor and partner to multiple business units, the Solution Lead will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing tailored solutions, preparing project cost estimates, and overseeing project deployments and enhancements.
The role often involves addressing unique and complex challenges, necessitating strong analytical skills and innovative approaches. The incumbent may be required to adapt existing processes or develop new methodologies based on a comprehensive understanding of business operations and unit-specific needs. Additionally, this role is accountable for establishing, implementing, and monitoring policies and guidelines to ensure projects meet management objectives and deliver desired outcomes. As an advisor and consultant, the Solution Lead will also support groups in achieving quality improvements as specified by key performance measures.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield Office, Bangalore, India

• Discusses why both user-IDs and passwords are required to manage access.
