Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 9 years of experience in database administration and domain expertise in Cards & Payments. The ideal candidate will excel in managing MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server environments. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to ensure seamless database operations contributing to the companys mission of enhancing financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement database changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries to enhance system efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all database platforms.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in capacity planning and scaling of database infrastructure.
• Analyze and report on database performance metrics to inform decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server administration.
• Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain.
• Exhibit proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Show capability in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies.
• Have a solid understanding of data security and integrity principles.
• Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
