Sr. Business Systems Analyst

As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will make an impact by bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution through advanced data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and systems integration. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting & Data Strategy team and work collaboratively with project managers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-centric solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise data platforms, including Clinical Data Hubs and Claims Data Warehouses
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across healthcare domains (Medicare Advantage, Stop Loss, Claims, Membership)
Translate complex data needs into actionable specifications using SQL, Power BI, and data mapping techniques
Facilitate workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and stakeholder interviews to drive clarity and alignment
Support compliance efforts including HIPAA assessments, audit documentation, and risk mitigation strategies

What you need to have to be considered:
10+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis or Data Analytics, preferably in healthcare or insurance domains
Strong proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and requirements documentation
Experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
Proven ability to lead cross-functional and offshore teams
Familiarity with healthcare data formats (FHIR, HL7, ICD-9/10, NCPDP) and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA)
These will help you stand out:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and PAHM certification
Experience with Power BI, Jira, and Mural for collaboration and reporting
Background in enterprise data strategy, audit readiness, and vendor evaluation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business or technology
