Job Description

Primary Function of the Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and execute inventory replenishment and rebalancing activities across both international and domestic markets. This role plays a critical part in supporting all service plants by ensuring the right part is available at the right location and at the right time to maximize system uptime.

The overarching objective is to strategically position inventory to consistently meet demand, while minimizing excess stock, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and avoiding delays for both internal and external customers. Additionally, this role is accountable for maintaining strong communication and collaboration with key contacts at global distribution centers.

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Execute planning activities using enterprise systems such as SAP, o9, and Agile.
  • Analyze global inventory levels and execute rebalancing strategies to ensure optimal allocation across multiple locations.
  • Identify, document, and implement planning processes to drive and sustain operational excellence.
  • Provide comprehensive planning support for service plants, including management of End-of-Life (EOL) items, excess and obsolete inventory, and field actions.
  • Develop technical specifications and maintain reporting processes for planning metrics and performance analysis.
  • Maintain and communicate project status updates, key performance indicators (KPIs), and escalate material availability issues as needed.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings and core team discussions to share project updates and align priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Demand and Supply Planning team to support accurate service forecasting activities.
  • Partner with Production Control teams to support inventory attainment and alignment with production goals.
  • Prepare and present data for recurring business review meetings with senior leadership.
  • Support various ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
  • Work closely with the Logistics team to identify opportunities for transportation cost savings and improved service levels.
  • Ensure coordination with Regulatory and Trade Compliance teams to meet global compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of planning systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and apply mathematical techniques to real-world scenarios.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments and consistently meet critical deadlines.

Required Education and Training

  • BS degree or 3+ years of experience on supply chain
