Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative LLM and Generative AI Specialist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maximizing the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI to facilitate the migration of users from Teradata to Snowflake. This role involves utilizing in-house LLM and Generative AI tools and platforms to create user training, program team knowledge base, process optimization, and identifying innovative ways to accelerate the migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- LLM and Generative AI Utilization: Leverage LLM and Generative AI technologies to develop resources that support the migration from Teradata to Snowflake, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.
- Customized Training Development: Design and implement tailored training programs using LLM and Generative AI to educate users on the new Snowflake environment, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Migration Acceleration: Identify and implement innovative solutions using LLM and Generative AI to streamline and expedite the migration process, reducing downtime and enhancing efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data management, and business units, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the migration strategy.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AI-driven solutions and training programs, making data-driven adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of all AI-driven initiatives and provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and successes to project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in utilizing LLM and Generative AI technologies in a professional setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Strong understanding of data migration processes, particularly involving Teradata and Snowflake.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
