Primary Function of Position
Interaction Design is a key role at Intuitive Surgical, with responsibilities that cut across multiple technical disciplines. We bring a human-centered design process to healthcare innovation and the development of digital interfaces that are safe, effective, and delight our users.
As a Senior Interaction Designer at Intuitive, you will be applying the past experience in gamification to design solutions for our family of products that include both physical and software experiences and can expand to include 2d and 3d (AR/VR) space. You will be establishing brand new ways of interacting with our set of digital solutions to solve complex user experience problems.
You will be involved in various product development and exploration stages, from early concepts to final design and implementation. Intuitive has many exciting opportunities ahead, and we are excited to welcome you as a team member as we build the future of minimally invasive care.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.
Base Salary Range Region 1:$173,000 - $249,000
Base Salary Range Region 2: $147,100 - $211,700

Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
