Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to support WL/JH on DCM initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET technologies, and web service development, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional software teams and requires a proactive approach to documentation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, and Visual Studio.
• Build and support Windows Services and Web Services.
• Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs with a strong understanding of HTTP methods and REST principles.
• Write efficient SQL queries and interact with SQL Server databases.
• Work with JSON for data exchange and integration.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with other software teams through meetings and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
• Expertise in C#, Visual Studio, and the .NET framework.
• Strong understanding of Web APIs, REST architecture, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience developing Windows Services and Web Services.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with JSON and data serialization.
• Excellent debugging and testing capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: - $90,000 to $120,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 09/27/2025
