About the role

As a Senior Pega Application Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing Pega applications that enhance user experience and streamline case management processes. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across the Payer domain.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and enhance Pega applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Implement Pega Reporting and Data Integration strategies to support data-driven decision-making.
• Optimize user experience and accessibility through Pega UX and Mobility features.
• Manage Pega Case Management workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bartlett, IL.

What you need to have to be considered:

• 6–8 years of experience in Pega Platform and Application Development.
• Strong proficiency in Pega Reporting, Data Integration, and Case Management.
• Experience optimizing Pega UX and leveraging Mobility features.
• Familiarity with PEGA Decision Hub and its application in business processes.
• Knowledge of the Payer domain and its specific requirements.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $102,000 to $116,000, depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate.

This role is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
