Sr. Software Engineer - Java FSE

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot and Java. Experience in the Commercial Lending domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices for software development and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Ensure that all software developed is secure and follows industry best practices.
• Document software designs and maintain documentation for all projects.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in AWS SQL Spring Boot and Java.
• Have a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrate experience in developing scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Show proficiency in debugging and performance tuning of applications.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have experience in the Commercial Lending domain (nice to have).
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Hold a relevant certification in AWS or Java (preferred).
