QS4QS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Coordinator to join our team. The Student Coordinator will be responsible for supporting student programs and activities, facilitating communication between students and faculty, and enhancing the overall student experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for student advocacy and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
- Assist in organizing student orientation sessions, events, and extracurricular activities that promote student involvement.
- Monitor and address student needs, concerns, and feedback to enhance their educational experience.
- Collaborate with academic staff and administration to coordinate academic support services and resources.
- Develop and distribute communication materials, including newsletters, announcements, and resources for students.
- Track student engagement and participation in programs, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and counseling for students to enhance their personal and academic development.
- Support initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging within the student community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in student services, student affairs, or a similar role in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with student management systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated commitment to student advocacy and enhancing the student experience.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing student issues and needs.
