Responsibilities

  • Configuration, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of storage and SAN landscapes (IBM, HPE, NetApp, Brocade, Dell EMC);
  • Assurance of continuous and highly available operations through further development and technological adaptations;
  • Automation of operational processes;
  • Preparation of reports and capacity planning;
  • Continuous documentation of the system environment and participation in the creation of technology concepts;
  • Handling incident reports and serving as the contact for 3rd level support in the storage area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing and designing storage systems and services;
  • Experience in installation and configuration of storage systems (SAN/NAS);
  • Is familiar with and has knowledge of storage products such as IBM, HPE, NetApp, Dell EMC;
  • Good knowledge of setting up and configuring Storage Area Networks (SAN);
  • Ideally, you have an ITIL certification or are willing to obtain it as part of your work with us;
  • High level of customer orientation and strong service mindset;
  • Analytical thinking, a systematic, independent, and responsible working approach;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Business fluent in English, both written and spoken and German language skills are an advantage.
