Cognizant Technology Solutions U.S. Corporation, Systems Analyst/Developer A, pos located in College Station, TX. Responsible for core IT applications and/or IT consulting support. Duties may include analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software. May analyze detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for applications. May code applications and/or configure commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages. May support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution in response to scope changes, and application enhancements. Work in a team environment and may mentor junior or new team members. Engage in short and/or long-term travel; and/ or relocation to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Multiple full-time positions available. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a computer-related field of study, engineering, sciences, technology, math, business or a closely related field, and 12 months of experience in the job offered or alternate occupation (e.g., any job title with required experience) within a software environment (excluding desktop and hardware services). In lieu of bachelor’s degree, we will accept 3y of post-secondary education and 2y of work experience in the same or similar position. Experience being responsible for core IT applications and/or IT consulting support. Substantial long and/or short-term travel; and/or relocation to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. for position based/ reporting to College Station, Texas required.
