Join Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) as a Systems Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing and modernizing the CAOC-X platform alongside vital mission-critical events. In this exciting position, you'll be responsible for designing, integrating, and implementing sophisticated systems that fulfill operational and testing needs, all while aligning with the objectives of the Air Operations Center – Weapon System (AOC WS).

Requirements

  •  Engage in a diverse array of systems engineering activities with a focus on innovative system design, seamless integration, and effective implementation.
  • Guarantee that all systems and solutions align with government standards and fulfill mission objectives.
  • Transform overarching strategies into actionable system requirements while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to craft comprehensive implementation plans.
  • Take the lead or participate in the initial design phases of systems and maintain thorough documentation of these design concepts.
  • Contribute to design reviews for hardware and software components, ensuring that all aspects are traceable and compliant with established system requirements.
  • Create Engineering Plans and Annex K documents to support AOC WS formal tests and various CAOC-X initiatives.
  • Steer technical teams through complex system implementation projects and provide support during significant events.
  • Install, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot a variety of systems and network components, including virtual machines and cloud container setups.
  • Offer engineering support for infrastructure components like Cisco UCS, Nexus switches, VMware, and others.
  • Assist in the processes required to secure and uphold system Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC).

Technical Expertise Required:

  • Proficiency in Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus switches, and VMware environments.
  • Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background in systems setup, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with system security, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
  • ·Working knowledge of Windows OS, Linux, ACAS, HBSS, and Cisco IOS/NX-OS.

 Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, accompanied by 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or 5 to 7 years of applicable experience can be considered in place of a degree.

Clearance: Active Secret (TS/SCI preferred)
