As a Talent Acquisition Community Engagement Partner, you will be at the forefront of our talent acquisition efforts, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization. You will work closely with hiring managers to develop and implement strategic recruiting strategies, leverage cutting-edge sourcing technologies, and build robust candidate pipelines. Your expertise in technical recruiting and your ability to analyze workforce data will drive our success in attracting the best and brightest candidates.

In this role you will play a crucial role in counseling hiring managers on recruiting strategies, leveraging data to drive decision-making, and utilizing industry-leading sourcing technologies to build strong candidate pipelines.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Counseling: Advise hiring managers on recruiting strategies and practices that align with organizational goals and direction.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruiting process, including interviewing, pre-hire checks, extending offers, and coordinating orientation and start dates for new employees.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and other sourcing technologies to identify and attract the most qualified candidates.
  • Sourcing: Develop plans for sourcing top candidates based on company needs.

  • Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with internal business partners, vendors, and peers.
  • Partner with employment brand, marketing and communications to amplify our employer brand in the community.
  • Share employee stories, career opportunities, and skill development initiatives through social media and local channels.
  • Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to identify talent needs and align outreach efforts.
  • Create programs that attract underrepresented talent and support inclusive hiring practices.
  • Track and report on pipeline effectiveness and community engagement outcomes.
  • Recruitment Channel Management: Knowledge of various recruitment channels and ability to use them effectively to achieve organizational talent strategy.
  • Selects cost-effective suppliers or service providers for recruitment.
  • Analyzes the effectiveness of different recruitment channels.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, universities, workforce development programs, and diversity-focused groups.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and community forums.
  • Develop and manage community-based recruiting campaigns and events.
  • Workforce Analytics: Ability to analyze workforce data and metrics to support business decisions.
  • Explains the organizational benefits of workforce analysis.
  • Identifies methodologies and approaches in analyzing the workforce.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable speaking to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ATS, CRM tools, and sourcing technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with relationship management and a customer focus.
  • Ability to analyze and utilize workforce data to drive decision-making.

A top candidate will also have:

  • Familiarity with industry-leading sourcing technologies and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow).
  • Experience conducting technical interviews and collaborating with technical teams to evaluate candidates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in the recruiting process.
  • Experience managing multiple recruiting projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting.
  • Participation in professional development opportunities and networking events.

Additional Information:

  • This position’s primary location is in Peoria, IL.
  • Considering candidates for domestic relocation to Peoria IL.
  • Sponsorship is not offered.
  • This position is on-site 5 days a week Monday to Friday.

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
