-Supports a team of 5-12 people as a working member of the team.

-Helps train new team members with on-the-job training.

-Possesses the capability to recommend staffing changes.

-Fills in for other team leads or team members as required (trained and able to run all operations in assigned area at minimum).

-Identifies quality, safety, staffing, and production issues and brings them to the immediate attention of the Section Manager.

-Responds to calls and dispatches support resources as needed.

-Owns metrics for assigned area and is accountable for each metric's accuracy and timeliness of reporting.

-Partners with Section Manager in implementation of changes needed to achieve future value stream goals.

-Responsible for generating and working continuous improvement ideas related to their assigned area.

-Participate in RIWs in their assigned area.

-Monitors and audit PQVC metrics at the cell level in their area (ex: standard work audits, control points plans, etc.).

-Assists in creating, training, and implementing standard work processes and documentation.

-Collects data and updates metrics boards as needed.

-Participates in process improvement dialogue.

Basic Qualifications:

*Must have 3 years of manufacturing and machining experience

Top candidates will also have:

*Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

*Process knowledge of CNC machines/grinders

*Previous supervisory experience

*6 Sigma green belt training

Work schedule:

Night Shift - M-TH, 8 pm - 6 am

Summary Pay Range:

$25.40 - $33.00
