Technical Architect – AS400/Synon

Location – Richardson, TX

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and successful delivery.
• Conduct requirement clarification sessions and provide detailed guidance to offshore teams.
• Coordinate with onsite client technical leads and managers on all project development activities.
• Review and validate project artifacts from offshore teams, including design documents, test plans, test results, and other documentation.
• Facilitate approval processes for all project artifacts with relevant stakeholders.
• Resolve queries from the QA team to support testing and validation.
• Assist in project validation activities for deployment across various environments.
• Support regression testing through analysis and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
• Strong understanding of AS/400 systems and related technologies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage documentation and approval workflows efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
