Coder is looking for a Technical Program Manager (Contractor) to join our dynamic team. This is a strategic role focused on helping Coder evolve its monetization architecture and business model. You’ll lead a phased migration from seat-based pricing to usage-based billing, working across systems, teams, and vendors to make it happen. You’ll drive our phased implementation, ensure continuity between old and new systems, and manage key partners from planning through cutover.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Experience leading complex system migrations, specifically with experience integrating usage-based billing platforms with upstream CRM + CPQ systems, as well as downstream ERP systems.

  • Experience driving end-to-end project plans for complex deployments, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables across internal and vendor teams.

  • Proven ability to lead highly cross-functional initiatives. Not only fluent in systems, but also adept at coordinating across functions. This includes tailoring communication and alignment approaches for diverse groups (e.g., Marketing, R&D, Sales, Finance, and Operations) to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Drive the full implementation of the Crawl-Walk-Run monetization blueprint.

Domain Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of consumption-based pricing models, rating engines, and metering architectures — with the ability to design licensing and entitlement systems that ensure accuracy and alignment across upstream and downstream systems

  • An understanding of the quote-to-cash process and the Q2C reference architecture

  • Direct experience with API-based data flows, webhook architectures, event-driven systems, and have worked with high-volume transactional data.

  • Experience leading data migration projects with an understanding of validation frameworks and reconciliation processes.

  • Experience with CPQ, Salesforce, NetSuite, Campfire, Stripe

What we're looking for

  • 5–8+ years in program management, technical product management, or systems implementation

  • Strong experience leading complex system migrations

  • Expertise in usage-based pricing models and metering architectures

  • Familiarity with CRM, CPQ, and ERP integrations

  • Experience working with API-based systems, webhooks, and high-volume data

  • Clear communicator with high EQ and strong execution

Bonus tacos if you have

  • Experience managing parallel systems during phased migrations

  • Vendor management experience across multiple implementation teams

  • Experience successfully driving business model transformation

  • Hands-on work with Metronome, Stripe, or similar billing tools

  • Understanding of revenue recognition for both subscription and usage-based models

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, and Campfire
