Job description:
- Provide first and second-level support for server, network, and system incidents.
- Monitor infrastructure components and respond to alerts and status changes.
- Assist in system backups, patch verification, and restore operations.
- Troubleshoot hardware and OS-level issues and escalate when necessary.
- Support Active Directory, file shares, and access permissions.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment replacement or advanced support.
- Document incident resolutions and update knowledge base.
- Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved within agreed timelines.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT Support or Infrastructure operations.
- Certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
- Working knowledge of server operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Basic understanding of networking principles and device configurations.
- Experience with monitoring tools and IT ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow).
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately.
