As a Telecom Network Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications networks for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance across various network infrastructures. Your expertise will help our clients leverage the latest technology trends and solutions to enhance their communication operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain telecom networks including VoIP, data, and wireless systems.
- Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Implement security measures to protect network integrity.
- Keep up to date with emerging telecom technologies and advancements.
- Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer, Electrical Eng., Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in telecom network engineering or a similar role.
- Must have experience using software like OCALC, SPIDA CALC, Pole Foreman or similar to perform pole loading analysis.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
