Thing Worx Tester

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ThingWorx applications and mashups
• Validate data flows from other enterprise systems to ThingWorx dashboards
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of ThingWorx services and UI components
• Test REST APIs and service bindings within ThingWorx
• Verify role-based access control and user permissions
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
• Document defects, track issues, and support resolution using tools like JIRA
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams
• Support UAT and assist in preparing test reports and release documentation
  
  Required Skills
• Experience testing applications built on ThingWorx 8.x/9.x
• Familiarity with ThingWorx Mashups, ThingTemplates, ThingShapes, and Services
• Knowledge of Polarion ALM, Windchill PLM, or similar industrial integrations
• Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS for validation and scripting
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or other relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
