The Test Lead role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With a strong focus on Test and Defect Management, TOSCA DI Automation, Cloud Validation, and SQL Scripting, the candidate will lead testing efforts in a hybrid work environment. This position demands a seasoned professional who can drive testing excellence and collaborate across teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

• Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, providing clear and actionable feedback to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Defect Management

• Oversee the defect management process, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the software development lifecycle.

Automation & Tools

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA DI to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Drive innovation in testing practices, leveraging new tools and technologies to improve outcomes.

☁️ Cloud Validation

• Validate cloud-based solutions to ensure they meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

SQL Scripting & Data Integrity

• Utilize SQL scripting to perform data validation and ensure data integrity across systems.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver test solutions that meet business needs.
• Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Process Improvement

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Contribute to the company’s mission by ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until October 1^st 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $100K- 115K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
