Trades Assistant

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our team, specializing in train brake systems. If you're mechanically minded and ready to learn, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the assembly, maintenance, and repair of train brake systems.

• Disassemble components using a variety of power tools.

• Prepare components for painting by sandblasting and masking.

• Perform in-house paint jobs and touch-ups.

• Maintain and ensure all machinery and equipment are operational.

• Manage deliveries and stock.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must-haves:

  • reliable mode of transport and a valid driver's license.

  • valid White Card

  • A valid Forklift License.

• Nice-to-haves:

  • A current First Aid certificate is preferred.

  • Overhead crane license
